About Stratford The Stratford Financial Group is one of New Jersey and New York's leading insurance consulting and brokerage firms. Stratford was founded in 1997 by Daniel Ritter, an experienced 20 plus year veteran of the insurance and benefits industry. In the same year Jeffrey Ingalls joined the firm as Partner and President. Dan Ritter and Jeffrey Ingalls co-wrote a book on the strategy of consumer-directed healthcare entitled, Stop Buying Health Plans and Start Buying Health Insurance. We are approved by the Department of Accountancy in both NJ and NY to provide continuing education credits to accountants on this and other insurance and financial topics. We have been asked to speak about consumer-directed healthcare on various healthcare and financial panels. Jeff Ingalls hosted For Your Benefit, a weekly call-in radio show on WMTR 1050 AM. We are part of The Financial Planners Association of New Jersey and The National and Local Health Underwriters Association.
