Per our discussion regarding the dual quoting activity, as you know it is our policy that multiple quotes for the same group will produce the same rates assuming the plan design and corresponding information are the same. Aetna will use the same underwriting methodology on all Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for the same group, assuming all corresponding data is the same.

Also in the event of duplicate activity, there will be no negotiating on rates/proposals from the point that more than one producer has been provided a quote. Plan changes may be discussed. Regarding dual quote activity, it is Aetna's policy that multiple quotes for the same group will produce the same rates, assuming the plan designs and corresponding information are the same. Aetna will use the same underwriting methodology on all requests for the same group.

In regards to the producer commission levels, Aetna will not negotiate commission levels for select cases (51-300 lives), standard commission levels will apply.
