Job description

Entry level position, with limited, supervised client contact.

Job Duties and Specifications:

* Utilize Health Carrier Software to produce "small group" quotes.
* Prepare internal spreadsheets for review by Account Representative.
* Utilize Health Carrier Software to perform provider searches.
* Ordering of applications, directories and other supplies.
* Review new applications, etc. for Account Representative.
* Answer operator-routed phone calls.

Education / Experience / Skill Qualifications:

* Insurance knowledge preferred; not necessary.
* Insurance license not required; necessary for advancement.
* Basic computer skills required.
* Willingness to learn the group benefits aspect of the industry.

Training and Supervision Provided:

* Basics of Group Insurance benefit plans and rating methodologies.
* Client and insurance communication skills (written and verbal).
* Analysis of a group benefits package for sales-related purposes.
* Certified classroom instruction to become life and health licensed.
